Dr. Wright is an expert in the field of patient adherence. His accomplishments include being a Green Beret Medic and Major in the regular US Army before he retired. He was an Audiologist developing some of the most effective hearing conservation programs by using adherence management techniques. He guided the development of the Brain Injury Rehabilitation Center (BIRC) at Orlando Regional Medical Center, teaching staff and patients the tools necessary to improve patient behavior.
He was the CEO at the Threshold Center for Autism in Orlando, Florida. He is now the Founder and CEO of Behavioral Education and Research Services, Inc. (BEARS), where he develops training materials for healthcare teams to promote patient adherence and Nursing Applied Behavior Leadership (N-ABLe) programs.
He is an Author, International Lecturer, and Professor of Psychiatry and Mental Health Nursing, Adherence Management, Nursing Leadership, and Hospital Administration.
